Chesham United away - big 6 pointer

Post by KOB - 12-02-2019, 10:15

With the weather intervening in recent weeks but set reasonably fair for this week, we should be able to resume what has now become a relegation battle... albeit a battle amidst a lot of other teams down in the lower half of the table.

We go to Chesham for what is a huge six pointer, and to try to reverse the 2-1 defeat in the home fixture at the start of December. That came in the early period of the revitalised Chesham's efforts to drag themselves out of the drop zone, which has been pretty successful but, due to how poor a start they had, they've still got some way to go. They are still in the drop zone but just a point behind us, having played the same number of games - the scene is set for a game that could have a big bearing on what happens come the end of the season and we need as many there as possible to get behind the lads.

Chesham United have an old school ground that I particularly like, with terrace safety bars and plenty of cover should it rain. It will be another tough challenge and looking forward to supporting The Row on the road. "Ali Ali Ali Oh - Ali Ali Ali Oh - Hartley Wintney - we're the Orange Army"! :-)
