Liam Eagle leaves the Row

It is with a heavy heart and much gratitude for his efforts over the past few seasons that the Club announces the departure from our ranks of centre-back Liam Eagle.
Liam has been one of Hartley's true heroes in recent seasons, having been with us since our days in the Combined Counties League. He assisted the Club in achieving back-to-back CCL Premier titles in 2015-16 and 2016-17, and then a second successive promotion in 2017-18 from the Evo-Stik League South, East Division to the Southern Premier.
Hartley Wintney co-manager, Anthony Millerick, says:
"Liam has been a massive part of our success in recent years and we'd like to thank him for all his efforts. There have been many highlights but my personal favourite was the performance (along with Jack Ball) in our playoff victory, one of the best displays I've witnessed from a centre back pairing!"
"We are sure the Eagle with soar at his next club and we wish him the very best! "
Liam will remain in the hearts of the Row supporters as having been one of the Hartley greats, a very popular player who never gave anything less than 100%. We wish Liam all the very best, both in his family and football life.
